It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic death of Jayne Dumas, owner and president of the e.k. Quehl Company. Jayne, along with her devoted husband, Steve, and another couple perished in a fatal air crash in rural Wisconsin on Wednesday evening ,February 14th 2001, following a Valentine's Day Dinner.

Jayne was a bright, energetic business leader and visionary, who led e.k. Quehl in the pursuit of new technologies and customer services. She was deeply committed to her customers, and met each new challenge with energy, creativity and integrity. She was steadfast and loyal to her entire e.k. Quehl team - a trusted mentor and a beloved friend.

Jayne's dream at e.k. Quehl will continue, and we, too, will summon her courage and energy to further her vision. To that end, we value your loyalty and business relationship with the e.k.Quehl Company and are at the ready to serve your continuing needs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jayne and Steve's families, and to the host of friends and business associates who share their loss.
